Carnosine (60 / 500mg)
Carnosine is found in relatively high concentrations in several body tissues - most notably in skeletal muscle, nerve tissue and the brain. Carnosine has been called the "antioxidant dipeptide" because of its ability to scavenge free radicals. Its exact biological role is not well understood but many studies indicate that it has antioxidant potential. Carnosine appears to be particularly supportive to the nervous system by acting as a chemical messenger (neurotransmitter). This may offer great potential for helping to keep the body healthy.
